Nepal will take on Qatar in their opening match of the ICC Twenty20 World Cup Asia Region Qualifier as the International Cricket Council released the tiesheet of the July 23-28 event to be held in Singapore.

A total of five teams are participating in the round robin league event from where the top two teams will make it to the Global Qualifier for 2020 ICC Twenty20 World Cup later this year. After the opening day match against Qatar, Nepal will meet Malaysia the next day, Kuwait on July 27 and hosts Singapore on July 28.

All the matches will be held at the Indian Association Cricket Ground. The tournament was initially planned to be held in Malaysia but the world cricket governing body shifted the venue.
