Here is how you can help the victims of storms in Southern Nepal
Province 2 government has announced relief of Rs 300,000 each to the victims of the storm in the Tarai region of Nepal.The provincial government in Province No. 2 has announced a relief package of Rs. 300,000 each to the victims of the rainstorms in the Terai region the morning after deadly storms killed at least 27 people and injured more than 400 across the region.
Local officials and volunteers working across the region had been appealing for help with the public, particularly in gathering relief supplies and donating blood. However, Red Cross officials in Birgunj said although they were worried in the beginning, there hasn't been any urgent demand for blood.
Dipendra Jha, the chief attorney of the province said that the government has launched a disaster relief fund under the chief minister's office to appeal for donations.

Provincial officials have also urged for assistance in immediate relief, providing food supplies, tents, medicines in severely affected villages like Puraini in Bara district.
The high volume of victims has inundated hospitals in the region, so officials have asked doctors and health workers in the neighbouring districts for help. Immediate needs for medical workers at Narayani Zonal Hospital and Kalaiya Hospital.
