Oppo updated its F series smartphones with the introduction of F11 Pro in the market on Monday. Oppo F11 Pro Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition is priced at Rs49,990 while F11 Pro cost Rs47,990 and F11 at Rs37,990.
Oppo F11 Pro features dual rear cameras, a 48 MP primary plus a 5 MP depth sensing unit. It is also one of the few smartphones utilising a motorised pop-up 16 MP selfie camera. This has allowed the Oppo F11 Pro to achieve a claimed 90.9 percent screen to body ratio as there are no notches or camera cut-outs.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Bobby Zhao, CEO at Oppo Nepal said, “I am certain that OPPO F11 Pro will be at the forefront of the next phase with brilliant portrait photography as the brand has revolutionised mobile photography.”
Crafted with perfection, the natural gradient design of OPPO F11 Pro adopts a design philosophy of minimalism putting attention on its aesthetics and details—which ultimately brings its best-of-both-worlds, he said.
F11 and F11 Pro come with the most advanced camera system of the F series, reads the press statement of the company. As the rear camera has been greatly upgraded, F11 and F11 Pro feature an ultra-high standard 48MP 5MP dual camera system with F1.79 aperture, ball-bearing closed-loop VCM, 6P lens, and 1/2.25-inch image sensors to bring more light which means the devices can directly output 48MP ultra HD pictures in day light environments.
Similarly, in low light, F11 series’ Tetracell technology analyses and combines the data acquired from four adjacent pixels to make it equivalent to a single pixel size of 1.6μm, doubling the size of the photosensitive pixel and shooting brighter and low-noise night portraits.
Similarly, F11 and F11 Pro are also powered by ultra-night mode and dazzle colour mode which is OPPO’s system-level optimisation solution specially designed for smartphone photography, reads the press statement. In ultra-night mode, it distinguishes between portraits and backgrounds, focuses on faces, and adjusts skin colour in low light portraits to enliven the overall effect. This also intelligently reduces the overall noise, suppressing highlights, improving the dynamic range and increasing the brightness of dark areas to make night shots clean and clear.
According to the press statement, OPPO F11 series also seek to improve the overall user experience and solve common smartphone problems such as overheating, lag, and battery life.
The F11 Pro will be available in two colour variants—thunder black and aurora green.
