Creative talent sometimes manifests itself at an incredibly young age. Atithi Gautam KC is among these tiny prodigies, and has astonished thousands of people with her amazing voice, a fact rendered even more amazing considering her age. Just three years old, Atithi is today the youngest singer in the world. The release of her newest album took place amid an equally celebratory occasion, taken to the peak of Mount Everest on May 18 by Nepal’s youngest civil servant, Khimlal Gautam. Gautam was one of a nine-member climbing team of civil servants scaling Mt Everest.
Atithi’s self-titled debut album had come out on July 18 last year. This new album, Atithi-2 is a collection of four English songs—White and Bright Mt Everest, Sun Has No Nation, Watch Does Say, All the Time You Keep On—combined with a Tarana, a form of classical Eastern music. Lyrics were written by Ghanashyam Khadka and composed by Joogal Dangol.
Atithi has already been acknowledged by the World Records Academy of America, India book of Record and World Amazing Records
as the youngest singer in the world. The Guinness Book of World Records is also in the process of following suit. Athiti has also had attention showered on her by many
top personalities including the Prime Minister of Nepal and other dignitaries, who have hailed her talent as incredible for her young age.
