Oli receiving care at Norvic
Nov 2, 2012-
CPN-UML senior leader KP Sharma Oli was admitted to Norvic Hospital on Friday evening after a drop in oxygen level in his blood.
“He has been admitted to the Coronary Curative Unit. He will be in hospital for a few days,” said UML leader Bhim Rawal. He is under the care of Dr Gajendra Shrivastava.
Oli, who was hospitalised in New York owing to a low haemoglobin count last week, returned to Nepal on Wednesday.
On his way back, Oli had undergone a follow-up examination at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi. He had a kidney transplant in India in 2008.
A source said that Oli had continuous cough, coupled with fever, since Friday morning. In the afternoon, he was admitted to Blue Cross Hospital. He was taken to Norvic after his health condition worsened.
He complained of respiratory difficulty, said a well-wisher who visited him at Norvic Hospital.
