Team off to China to discuss Kunming expo

Sujata Koirala, chief of the Nepali Congress Internation-al Department, left for Yunnan Province, China, on Thursday at the invitation of its Governor Li Jiheng.

Koirala, who leads a five-member delegation, will hold discussion on the preparations for the exposition to be organised in Kunming in June, according to a statement issued by the GP Koirala Foundation that she chairs.

Other delegates include advisors to prime minister Chiranjibi Nepal and Dinesh Bhattarai. The team also has businessmen Dibya Mani Rajbhandari and Binod Kumar Agrawal.

According to a statement, Nepal has been chosen to be “the country of honour for the exposition”.
