New flavours at China Garden

KATHMANDU: China Garden restaurant at Soaltee Crowne Plaza has introduced Cantonese and Hunan flavours into the sumptuous a la carte menu from May 30 onwards. Diners can look forward to authentic, deliciously fortifying yet modern cuisines set amidst an ambience of understated elegance and experience the unusual revival of the restaurant. A spread features unique favorites from starters to desserts that includes Xiang Chicken, Char Siu (Roast Pork), Pepper Chicken Sticks Xiang Province Style, and Burnt Chilly Mushroom Skewers among others. The diners can warm up themselves with the delicious soups including sesame sticky rice ball soup, Cantonese seafood soup, winter melon soup among others. In the main course, one can choose from wide selection that include Stir fried Lamb with douchi, Western Hunan Crab, Chairman Mao’s Red-Braised Pork, Fresh Chilly Antenna Prawns. The other Cantonese highlights are Cantonese steamed fish, provincial Fungus and Yeung Chow Fried Rice. China Garden, the Chinese Speciality restaurant at Soaltee serves Chinese delicacies boasts of splendid orchestration of more than 300 delicious recipes. (PR)

Colors LED televisions launched

KATHMANDU: Lucky Group’s Universal Electrocom has expanded its portfolio under its Colors brand, launching a range of LED TVs. The LED TVs come in 19-, 24- and 32-inch variants. The company has offered an 18-month warranty on the products. “As an introductory offer that coincides with the football world cup, buyers will get an F7N model Colors Mobile camera phone, worth Rs 1800 free with every LED TV purchase,” read a statement. MAW names Yamaha scheme winners

KATHMANDU: Purna Bahadur Karki of Pathari, Morang, has been named fourth winner of the “Yamaha Winning Express” scheme launched by MAW Enterprises, authorised distributor of Yamaha. Under the scheme, four lucky winners would get a chance go to Brazil to watch the FIFA World Cup 2014. Previous winners were Raja Babu Dangol, Kedar Nath Sharma Khanal and Roshan Khadka. MAW had also given a sure-shot cash prize of Rs 7,100 to the buyers. (PR)
