Govt plans four hydroelectricity projects

The government is planning to construction four hydropower projects to address the power shortage in the country. Dudhkoshi IV (49 MW), Myagdi Hydropower Project (32 MW), Beni-Kaligandaki Hydropower Project (50 MW), Sankhuwa- sabha River Hydropower Project (30 MW) are among the projects that the government has kept in the priority list. Keshav Dhwaj Adhikari, joint secretary at the Ministry of Energy, said they have started the process for selecting consultants for these projects with a combined capacity of generating 161MW
