KTV to broadcast WC live

Kantipur Television (KTV) is set to broadcast Fifa World Cup matches live in Nepal.

KTV joined hands with Aryan Films Production Pvt Ltd — the only official broadcasting partner for the world football’s extravaganza in Nepal —to screen the live matches scheduled for June 12-July 13 in Brazil.

While most of the matches will be broadcasted live on KTV, on circumstances where more than a match is scheduled at the same time, one another national televison will cover the match, informed the Aryan Films.

The other televison to broadcast those matches, however, is yet to be ascertained. Aryan Films itself will distributed the broadcasting rights to the other television.

Aryan Films have also warned the cable operators and DTH service users in the country of illegal transmission of the broadcast.

Aryan Films said it will inform in advance the time for the delayed telecast of the games. The re-telecast and highlights of some of the selected matches will also be availabe to watch in the KTV.
