Pugilists receive track suits

KATHMANDU:  Nepali boxers preparing for the 17th Asian Games received track suits on Friday. Mitsubishi Leon Motors and Adidas distributed track suits to 15 members — four coaches and 11 boxers — currently undergoing training for the Asian Games. The Asian Games will be held in September in Incheon, South Korea. (PR)

Solidarity course for tennis begins

LALITPUR: A Lawn Tennis Olympic Solidarity Course began here at the Satdobato tennis court on Friday. The course, jointly organised by Nepal Olympic Committee and All Nepal Lawn Tennis Association, is participated in by 24 coaches. International Tennis Federation  experts Suresh Lama and Sharad Lama are conducting the 12-day course. (PR)

Loyalty lift boys’ football title

KATHMANDU: Loyalty Academy won the first Olympia Inter-school Boys’ Football Tournament here on Friday. A brace from Rajiv Karki helped Loyalty defeat Kavya 3-0 in the final to lift the trophy. Govinda Roka was the other scorer for Loyalty. In all 13 teams had participated in the two-day tournament. (PR)
