KTV to launch new channel

The Kantipur Media Group (KMG) on Saturday announced that a separate channel will be launched in the next four months. KMG Chairman and Managing Director Kailash Sirohiya said the channel will be aired through satellite and can be viewed across the globe.

Addressing a programme organised to mark the completion of 11 years of the KTV, Sirohiya said the KTV has been able to maintain its status as the best television in the country. He urged everyone at the television to remain committed to continuing with the progress.

Similarly, Upendra Mahato, director of the KTV, said the television has been able to maintain its credibility. He reminisced the initial days when they were in dilemma whether or not they should invest in media. “Looking back, we feel that we have been able to retain its credibility,” he said.

Also, Ganesh Agrawal, director of the KTV, asked all the staff members to work in the same spirit as now. On the occasion, nine staffers were felicitated. Charu Shrestha, chief of Marketing Department, was awarded with Board of Director Special Award. Similarly, Ranjana Shrestha and Jiwan Karki of News Bureau were also awarded at the programme.

Likewise, Arjun Adhikari of Production Department, Niranjan Karki of camera section, Lokesh Bajracharya of graphics, Sanjaya Kumar Chaudhary of Engineering Department, Suresh Rajak of Marketing Department and Ram Chandra Gautam of Administrative Department were also awarded.
