Aug 24, 2014-
An eight-year-old boy has got his right thumb fractured after reportedly being thrashed by his school teacher at Bashulinga VDC-6 in the district. Pushkar Bhatta, a third grader at the Bashudev Lower Secondary School, said that his class teacher Suna Bhatta hit his fingers with a stick after he failed to answer the question asked. The incident came to light after Pushkar told his parents about what happened. Pushkar has been referred to India for further treatment on Sunday. After police consultations, Suna admitted to beating up Pushkar and agreed to pay his treatment bills.
