Suzuki Gixxer motorbike unveiled

KATHMANDU: VG Automobiles, authorised distributor of Suzuki Motorcycles, has launched the Suzuki Gixxer 155cc. The Gixxer is Suzuki’s flagship model which boasts a pioneering style and sophisticated appearance, combined with exceptional riding performance. The company claims the bike offers a mileage of 60kmpl. The bike will be showcased at the NADA Auto Show 2014 in Kathmandu, and go on sale within next two weeks. The company also launched “VG Suzuki Dashain Tihar Jadu Offer”. Under the scheme, every motorcycle and scooter purchaser will get an opportunity to win on-the-spot cash prize between Rs 8,000 and Rs 100,000 through scratch coupons. Moreover, five lucky customers will get a chance to win a package to fly to Dubai and two customers will win a package to fly to Japan. (PR)

Ncell launches new data scheme

KATHMANDU: Ncell has launched a new scheme named “Super Net” under which Ncell customers surfing internet without subscribing a data pack will be able to enjoy internet at as less as Rs 1 per MB for three months. According to company, the scheme is especially designed for customers preferring to use data without any pack. Under this, the more the customers use data, the cheaper the price gets. Ncell prepaid customers can participate in the campaign by dialling 17103 and enjoy its benefits for free. “We always encourage our customers to use data packs, as they enable customers to avail data at as less as 30 paisa per MB (excluding taxes). Nonetheless, as some customers prefer to use loose data, we have come up with “Super Net” scheme, aiming to provide special benefits to them,” said Sanju Koirala, corporate communications director of Ncell. NGM launches Hero festive offer

KATHMANDU: Nepal General Marketing, authorised distributor of Hero motorcycles and scooters, has launched “Cash ma Cash” offer on the occasion of the festive season. Under the scheme, customers will get the discounts from Rs 4,000 to Rs 100,000 on the purchase of Hero bikes and scooters. Apart from this, one customer will get a chance to win a cash prize of Rs 100,000 through a lucky draw. According to the company, the scheme will run for two months. (PR)

Johnnie Walker new design

KATHMANDU: Johnnie Walker has unveiled a new design for its Black Label whiskey. The new design recalls icons of the 1930s -- the decade in which the company was first awarded the Royal Warrant by King George V. The company said the new bottle offers a glimpse into this “golden age” for Johnnie Walker by opening a window on the 1930s, an era typified by Art Deco, Hollywood movie glamour and burgeoning luxury travel. Regional Marketing Manager of the company Shiv Taneja said: “This is limited edition design which is visually exciting and memorable, a stunning reminder of an iconic period for Johnnie Walker. With a sophisticated matt black body and striking gold detail, its design has been inspired by the1930s.” The limited edition bottle design will be available at Rs 4,950 per litre bottle. (PR)

KATHMANDU: Shikhar Shoes has launched “Shikhar Shoe Uapahar Tu” scheme targeting the festive buyers. Real School regional finals

KATHMANDU: Real School of Nepal 2014 has concluded its sixth regional finals in the Central Region 2, Kathmandu. Trisala Shrestha, Roshni Maharjan, Sushant Nakarmi, Diwash Shilpakhar, Aavash Ranjit and Nabin Regmi from Rising Star Higher Secondary School will participate in the grand finale to become the Real School of Nepal 2014 in Kathmandu. Prime bid to help disaster hit

KATHMANDU: Prime Commercial Bank has provided a financial assistance of Rs 1 million to the natural disasters fund created by the Prime Minister’s Office. The bank’s Board of Director Rajendra Das Shrestha handed over the cheque to Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Tuesday. (PR)
