Raut wins Dish Home scheme

KATHMANDU: Dish Home has named Bir Bahadur Raut from Jumla as the first lucky draw winner under its promotional scheme named “Sworna Utsav”. Raut won 10 tola gold. Suman Pokharel, managing director, and Manoj Neupane, assistant brand manager of Dish Home, handed over the prize to the winner on Friday. There will be two types of prizes for the consumers during the span of this scheme. Customers who activate Dish Home from August 25 to November 16 will get a silver coin and can participate in the scheme to win 10 tola gold. The company said it would announce seven more lucky winners in the coming days. (PR)

Eezy Shoes launches new products

KATHMANDU: Eezy Shoes has launched a wide range of shoes. Nepali Congress Central Committee Member and Lawmaker Gagan Thapa launched the shoes on Tuesday. The company also appointed singer Nima Rumba as brand ambassador. The company offers a six-month warranty on the products that include fashionable shoes, casual shoes, boots and other party shoes. The company has manufacturing capacity of 300 pairs per day and plans to boost the capacity to 500 pairs within the next three months. (PR)

TCL festive offer launched

KATHMANDU: EOL, authorised distributor of TCL televisions, has launched “Sabaiko Dashain Tihar, Sabailai Pakka Upahar” scheme under which, customers will get various free gifts on purchase of TCL products. According to the company, customers will get a wireless mini keyboard on purchase of 40-inch and above Smart/3D/4K UHD TV. The customers will also get CG gas stove, induction cooker, Bluetooth Speaker on purchase of its products. The company also launched a smart 4K television targeting the festive buyers. (PR)

Ncell launches ‘Paisa Back’ offer

KATHMANDU: Ncell has launched a new scheme named “Paisa Back”, under which customers will get bonus return of equivalent amount every day using a certain given amount from their main balance. The scheme will run for eight weeks starting Thursday. According to the company, all Ncell pre- and post-paid customers will be able to get information on the amount that they need to use from their main balance to enjoy the bonus return by dialling 17119. On using the amount, they will instantly receive bonus balance in equivalent amount. Customers can use thus received bonus for surfing internet, making calls and sending SMS, MMS to other Ncell users. (PR)

Sanima Bank financial assistance

KATHMANDU: Sanima Bank has provided a financial assistance of Rs 20,000 to Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Nepal. Saroj Guragain, chief financial officer of the bank, handed over the cheque to Karuna Nepal, office in-charge of Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Nepal. Muscular dystrophy is a group of muscle diseases that weaken the musculoskeletal system and hampers locomotion (the power and ability to move) with very less longevity. (PR)

NMB bid to help disaster hit

KATHMANDU: NMB Bank, in association with the Surkhet Central District Office, organised a relief distribution programme to the flood victims in five rehabilitation centres in the district. The bank staff and Acting CEO Jagat Bahadur Basnet distributed 300 sacks of food grains to the rehabilitation camps. (PR)
