Bhagawati named Donear distributor

KATHMANDU: Bhagawati Bastralaya has been appointed the authorised distributor of Donear Suitings for Nepal. Donear primarily caters to the middle and premium segments with high quality apparel fabrics that are woven with natural fibres, synthetic fibres and its various blends. From the showroom of Bhagawati Bastralaya located at Wotu, customers can get three ranges of the clothing line including Donear NXG, which is a casual wear collection for Nepal, Ferrino Mizzoni, the premier line of products and a general mass market product. The products will be available all across Nepal through the distribution network of Bhagawati Bastralaya. Meanwhile, the company also named cricketer Paras Khadka as its brand ambassador for Nepal. Shrestha wins Money Double prize

KATHMANDU: Western Union Company has declared Sudeep Shrestha of Kathmandu as the 12th winner of its Money Double weekly lucky draw scheme. The lucky draw was held from a pool of all the transactions paid in a week on the basis of MTCN codes used throughout the week. The winner of the lucky draw is awarded a sum equivalent to the amount of money received while using the remittance service not exceeding Rs 50,000. (PR)

KATHMANDU: Ncell has launched a new offer, under which customers can buy two new models of Samsung handsets bundled with Ncell services at attractive prices. Customers will be able to buy the Samsung Ace Next loaded with an Ncell pre-paid SIM, including on-net balance worth Rs 3,000, at Rs 10,900. IME announces winners

Kumari assistance to flood hit

KATHMANDU: Kumari Bank has provided a financial assistance of Rs 160,000 for the rehabilitation of the victims of landslide and floods. The bank’ s Nepalgunj branch manager handed over the financial support to Jeevan Prasad Oli, chairman of Daibik Prakop Rahat Kosh, Banke. The cash were collected by the bank staff and customers through the KBL Relief Fund. Meanwhile, the bank, in association with Indrawatee Community Service Center (ICSC), conducted a health camp in Barahbise, Sindhupalchowk. (PR)

NIC bid to help disaster victims

KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Bank has provided a financial assistance of Rs 551,000 to the Prime Minister Relief Fund for the rehabilitation of the victims of floods and landslides. Ram Chandra Sangai, coordinator of NIC Asia Foundation and the bank’s board of director, handed over the cheque to Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Wednesday. (PR)
