Seto Gumba closed for public

The Druk Amitabha Mountain Monastery, popularly known as Seto Gumba, has been indefinitely closed for the public starting Tuesday.

As the monks would be away on an annual religious walk, the monastery would be closed for public until another notice, said Druk Pema Karpo Society, the committee responsible for the management of the monastery, issuing a notice on Tuesday. The monastery used to be open for public on Sundays. Located at Ramkot in Kathmandu, the monastery is famous for Tibetan culture and architecture and is one of the popular destinations in the Valley.
