Nine killed in road accidents

Nine people were killed in separate road accidents in Khotang and Chitwan in the last two days. Seven people died and eight others were seriously injured when a jeep fell some 200 metres at Durchhim VDC-6 in Khotang on Friday. Police identified deceased as Tanka Raya of  Okhaldhunga; Purnamaya Magar of Sindhuli; Chandramaya Karki, Chandramaya Moktan and Ro Bahadur Pandit of Nuwakot; and Saraswati Pandit,  and Bal Kumari Raut of Sindhuli.

In Darechok-4, Chitwan, Arjun Bishunkhe of Dhading and Ramesh Kumar Shrestha of Palpa were killed when a truck fell into Trisuli river on Thursday night.
