AV Digitals launches ‘CONNECT’

KATHMANMDU: AV Digitals has launched its new mobile application named “CONNECT”. The app is specifically designed for schools and other educational institutions and re-invents the way schools and other institutions communicate with the students’ parents. The app features instant notifications for daily activities, personalised messages and notifications, events and calendars, digital grade sheets among others. The aim of the app is to notify the parents about the students’ on-going activities at their fingertips, said the company statement. The app can be downloaded from Google Play and Apple App Store. Rupy’s International School is the first school to use this app and it will be operative from next month. (PR)

Laxmi Group marks 41st anniv

KATHMANDU: Laxmi Group marked its 41st anniversary providing financial assistance of Rs 15 million in various sectors under its corporate social responsibility. BoK introduces new deposit scheme

KATHMANDU: Bank of Kathmandu has introduced a new deposit service named “BoK Janaki Bachat Khata” at the bank’s Janakpur branch. The product offers CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) component with it where an assured fixed amount is contributed from the bank with every account opened for the development of Janaki Temple. The saving account can be opened with minimum balance of Rs 5,000 only where the customers are offered various other services of the Bank. (PR)

Tsingtao beer in market

KATHMANDU: Lovely Beverages, authorised distributor of Tsingtao Beverage of China, has launched Tsingtao beer. The beer will be available in 330ml and 500ml cans. The company has priced the 330ml can at Rs 170, while the 500ml can costs Rs 240, the company said in a statement. (PR)

KATHMANDU: Century Commercial Bank has announced 6 percent bonus shares and 3.47 percent cash dividend, subject to the approval of Nepal Rastra Bank and Bank’s upcoming annual general assembly. (PR)
