Dhangadi enter final

Rajbir Singh struck a magnificent century to steer Dhangadi to the final of the Kathmandu Cricket League with a 75-run win over Lord Buddha Cricket Club on Friday.
Batting first, Dhangadi put a daunting 251-7 in 50 overs before restricting Lord Buddha for 176-8. Dhangadi openers Sunil Dhamala (35) and Amit Shrestha (36) laid the foundation for the big total with a 67-run partnership. Singh than stole the limelight clobbering 10 fours and two sixes to score 107 unbeaten runs.
Bijay Rana also chipped in 32 runs to the total. Manish Shrivastav took three wickets while Prasoon Thapa, Abinash Luitel and Abhisesh Thapa claimed one wicket each for Lord Buddha.
Lord Buddha had a poor start to their run chase losing four wickets for just 30 runs. But Prasoon scored an unbeaten 56 off 63 balls and Manish Shrivastav hit 43 runs to give some respectability to their total. Mahesh Adhikari, Bikram Thagunna, Saurav Bam and Rajbir Singh bagged one wicket each for Dhangadi, who play Kathmandu Cricket Training Centre in final on Saturday.
