Cycle rally for awareness
- World Heritage Sites Day

A cycle rally passing through all seven Unesco world heritage sites in the Kathmandu valley is planned for Saturday on the occasion of the World Heritage Site Day.
Government bodies, including Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Nepal Tourism Board, Lumbini Development Trust and Unesco are organising the rally to encourage eco-friendly transportation through the historic sites and promote sustainable tourism. The rally will cover around 60 kilometre route that passes through Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur.
The Valley is home to seven of the total ten world heritage sites in Nepal, namely Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swyoyambhunath, Changunarayan, Basantapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
