Apr 16, 2015-

Packed full with nutrients, fruits are undeniably great for our health, and great also for beautifying your skin. We list here a few quick recipes

Orange facial exfoliant

We all know the goodness that an orange packs; we also know the goodness that the orange peels pack. Now eat the inside and mix those peels with fine oatmeal and you have an amazing natural exfoliator set to go.

Raid your kitchen for: Oranges, fine oatmeal.

The recipe of goodness...

Mix equal parts orange peel and fine oatmeal in an airtight container. When you are ready to use your scrub, use a dry spoon to take a spoonful out. Slowly add a few drops of water to the mixture until it’s at a creamy consistency. Gently scrub your face using a circular motion and avoid the eye area.

Great for: Reducing pimples, reducing the oiliness in your skin and reverting early signs of aging.

Time out: 5 minutes

Mango face mask

Packed with antioxidants, specifically Vitamin C, mangoes keep your face healthy and give it a summery glow.

Raid your kitchen for: Mangoes, honey, almond oil.

The recipe of goodness...

Mix together four tbsp of finely chopped mango pulp, 1-2 tsp honey and 1 1/2 tbsp almond oil. Apply to your clean face and neck. Leave the face mask on for 15-20 minutes.

Time out: 20 minutes
