Admire Nepal, a non-profitable organisation, has started a campaign titled The Mission One with an aim to provide relief to earthquake victims in the country.

The campaign was launched on Wednesday in Kathmandu amid a program which saw participation by renowned personalities like Madan Krishna Shrestha, Hari Bansha Acharya, Dr Sanduk Ruit, Dr Bhagwan Koirala, Mahabir Pun, Rajesh Hamal, Paras Khadka, Anuradha Koirala and Uttam Sanjel, among others.

Under the campaign, those living in Nepal can donate at least Rs 100 through SMS, while those living outside the country can donate a minimum amount of one dollar via the website of the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund or Admire Nepal.

“The collected amount will be directly handed over to the fund and mobilised to fulfill the genuine needs of quake victims,’ stated a press release issued by the organisation.

“The whole country is reeling under the pressure of the crisis triggered by the April 25 quake and its aftershocks. So, every Nepali must display a great deal of solidarity to help each other and cope up with the crisis.”

The organisation has also urged everyone to share information about this campaign at least with one of their friends.
