Hami distributes relief in Gorkha and Rasuwa

Hami, a group of entrepreneurs and social workers, recently concluded their relief distribution drive at Apun village in Kharibot VDC of Gorkha and at Betrawati village in Laharepauwa VDC of Rasuwa.

Under the leadership of Manish Rana Magar, founder of Himalayan Healers, 300 blankets and mattresses, 80 portable solar lights, 80 boxes of medicine, 50 boxes of medical supplies, 100 sets of children’s clothing, 5 boxes of toothpaste, 5,000 notebooks and 200 water purifiers were distributed in Apun.

Likewise, Himalayan Healers distributed the same quantity of supplies to 300 households in Betrawati. For the distribution work, Hami was supported by the Kathmandu-based Baba Boarding School.

Besides Magar, the Hami team members included the National Women’s Basketball team coach, Dikesh Pradhan, a professional nurse from the UK, Pranita Ale, model-cum-RJ, Narayan Agasti, owner of Plastic Factory Suman Shrestha, hotelier Ozina Gurung, social worker Neela Basista and a team from UK Gabi FRC.
