Manang residents help quake victims in Pokhara

A team of Manang residents is currently in Pokhara, distributing relief supplies to the quake-affected people of Pokhara and its neighbouring districts. The team, led by Binod Gurung, is providing free food twice a day to the victims in hospitals and various shelter camps around the city.

As of now, a total of 65 quake victims in different hospitals and temporary camps have received food provided by the team. The group has also provided clothing material to pregnant women and their infants. According to Gurung, the group has already distributed relief material worth Rs 3,400,000 in different quake-affected districts like Gorkha, Dhading, Lamjung and Rasuwa.
