Ncell doubles data volume

KATHMANDU: Ncell has doubled data volume on daily packs without any change on prices. With this, customers will be able to get 6MB (3MB+3 MB) data at Rs6; 12MB (6MB+6MB) at Rs9; 18MB (9MB+9MB) at Rs12; and 40MB (20MB+20MB) at Rs20. The company said in a statement the offer has been launched keeping in mind the importance and growing need of data in the post-quake recovery and rebuilding phase. It ensures the customers get double data volume without additional cost. All Ncell prepaid and postpaid customers can use the new offer by dialing *17123#.  (PR)

Nabil donates Rs20.1 million

KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank has contributed Rs20.1 million to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to support the government endeavours to provide relief to the earthquake victims. Nabil Chairman Shambhu Prasad Poudyal handed over a cheque to Prime Minister Sushil Koirala. Of the total, a contribution of Rs100,000 was made by Nabil Investment Banking Limited, a subsidiary of Nabil Bank. (PR)

Jagadamba sets up relief fund

KATHMANDU: Jagadamba Cement has established a relief fund of Rs 2.5 million named “Jagadama Yogdan” for the reconstruction and relief programme. The amount will be spent on re-building of the schools and hospitals damaged by the earthquake, said the company’s statement. (PR)

Citizens Bank provides Rs10.9 million

KATHAMANDU: Citizens Bank International has provided a financial assistance of Rs10.9 million to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. Balkrishna Prasai, acting chairman of the bank, handed over the cheque to Prime Minister Sushil Koirala. (PR)

Himalayan Bank provides relief items

KATHAMANDU: Himalayan Bank has provided relief materials to children and old age people taking shelter in Bhaktapur Dharmashala, Bhaktapur. Sushil Joshi, general manager of the bank, distributed the relief materials like rice, edible oil, salt, sugar, kitchen appliances and mosquito nets to them. (PR)
