Princess Jayanti awards presented

The Hotel Annapurna on Tuesday conferred the Princess Jayanti Achievement Award on three top female achievers studying at the graduate level in the field of tourism and hotel management at the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel management (NATHM). The achievement award is a scholarship given to female students scoring the highest in the final year. Archana Thapa Magar was named the gold medallist. Likewise, Shivini Shah and Richa Sainju, the top female scorers in the first and second years in hospitality management, received silver coins. All the three students received Rs40,000 each as a cash prize. NATHM is the first hospitality management college in Nepal. The Hotel Annapurna said that it was focused on creating awareness and helping underprivileged members of society as part of its corporate social responsibility. The award is a tribute and a legacy to the wishes of the late princess Jayanti Shah.
