The Nepal Academy of Music and Drama has provided the emblem of the Chief Conservator of the Academy to Prime Minister KP Oli.The Nepal Academy of Music and Drama has provided the emblem of the Chief Conservator of the Academy to Prime Minister KP Oli. The dignitaries of the Academy paid a visit to the newly-elected Prime Minister to present the emblem on Tuesday.
Addressing the attendees PM Oli said, “The Government of Nepal and I, personally, will always spread our hands for the development and promotion of Nepali drama and music. He added, “Since arts and culture have always played a significant role in promoting national integrity, social harmony, and national development, I will remain committed towards the sector.”
Further, Oli also urged everyone to play an effective role to galvanise the arts and culture scene.
Speaking during the event, Chancellor of the Academy Sarubhakta said, “After the promulgation of the new constitution, we as the members of the Academy have carried out necessary operations for the preservation, promotion and overall development of the arts and culture scene; we believe it will help strengthen the societal integrity and harmony.”
Dignitaries Shambhujit Banskota, Uday Shrestha, Unnati Bohara, Puskar Bahadur Gurung, Rameshranjan Jha, Madhav Pradhan, among others, attended the event.
