UML flays attack on Nepal’s house

In a statement on Friday, the UML headquarters asked the protesting parties to check such unruly activities. Cadres of the Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha on Friday vandalised Nepal’s house in Gaur.
According to police, the gate and window panes of the house situated on the main road of Gaur Municipality-3 were badly damaged in the attack.
A group of agitating SLMM activists had taken their protest rally to the senior UML leader Nepal’s house, chanting slogans against the former prime minister.
“Such violent activities will not help resolve the problem,” read the statement. “The protesters must not lose control and conscience. The party has asked the protesting parties to sort the problem through dialogue.”
