People against constitution are traitors: Rawal

DADELDHURA: Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Bhim Rawal has said that the people protesting against the new constitution are traitors. Addressing a programme organised by CPN-UML in Dadeldhura on Monday, Rawal claimed that the newly promulgated constitution is the most remarkable constitution in the world, and guarantees the rights of all citizens. Only traitors would protest against the constitution, he said. (PR)   

CoAS inspects NA’s central division HQ

KATHMANDU: Chief of the Army Staff (CoAS) Rajendra Chhetri inspected the Makwanpur-based Nepal Army Central Division Headquarters on Monday. After the inspection, Chhetri instructed the officers to work effectively. CoAS Chettri is currently touring the NA division headquarters across the country. He is due to visit the mid and far western division headquarters. (PR)

Motorcyclist dies in bus hit

PANCHTHAR: A man died when his motorcycle was hit by a bus in Aparpur area in Panchthar on Monday. Police identified the victim as Pancha Hembya Limbu, 35. Locals obstructed the traffic after the incident, demanding action against the driver and compensation to the victim’s family. (PR)
