Police have arrested three persons on charge of vandalising the hospital.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajubabu Shrestha said Ishwor Yadav, Nishant Mishra and Anil Gupta were arrested. Police said the enraged youths vandalised the room of Dr Ram Dev Tiwari, Chairman of the Hospital Development Committee. Around a dozen youths entered Dr Tiwari’s office and destroyed some furniture, said SP Shrestha.
Police said the unruly youths broke the table glass and telephone.
Dr Tiwari said that the youths also misbehaved him. “We are appointing staff with the permission from the Ministry of Health,” he said.
The hospital is appointing five doctors, eight staff nurses and two sweepers. According to the hospital, the results of the appointment will be published on Tuesday.
