Police have arrested a man, said to be the alleged kingpin of an armed robbery gang, in possession of a country-made pistol in Rautahat.
Ramananda Mukhiya, permanent resident of Karkach Karmaiya-1, was arrested from the Bakaiya bridge on the Debahi-Maulapur road stretch on Wednesday, police said. The suspect was nabbed while attempting carjacking at gunpoint. Three of his accomplices are at large.
