Nepal set to host Bangladesh in final

The match will take place at the Army Physical Fitness and Sports Centre in Lagankhel, informed the the football gobverning body during a press conference.
The final was scheduled for a 2:00pm kick off at the Dashrath Stadium on April 25 before it had to be called off due to the 7.9 magnitude earthquake that struck at 11:56am.
Bangladesh footballers were warming up at the field when the quake hit Nepal killing over 8,500 people and leaving thousands more homeless. Dashrath Stadium has not hosted any competitive football game after the earthquake some of its parts have also been damaged by the powerful quake.
Anfa said it has made all the necessary preparations to host the final. A total of seven teams—also including, India, Bhutan, Maldives, Iran and Sri Lanka—had participated in the tournament. The hosts were pitted against Iran, Maldives and Sri Lanka.
In their route to the final, Nepal had defeated India with Bangladesh overcoming Iran. The Bangladesh team arrived here on Friday evening. Kishor KC is looking after the Nepali team led by Puja Rana.
