My Daily Bread With Kali Prasad Baskota, singer
Dec 25, 2015-
The award winning composer turned singer, Resham Filili hit maker talks about his busy day.
I wake up early and religiously start my day with two hours of riyaaz. After that, an hour is dedicated to morning walk with some yoga and breathing exercises.
I usually skip breakfast and have an early dal-bhat lunch. As a vegetarian, I like to have a lot of saag with my lunch every day.
Meetings are usually scheduled for the mornings where I brainstorm with various movie clients on their upcoming projects, and also sort media-related works by afternoon.
After light snacking, I go for recordings as I am working on my own tracks. As a freelancer, I don’t have to stick to just one studio, but I prefer Do Re Mi Recording Studio.
This part of my day is for catching up with friends, usually around Bagbazaar or Putalisadak. I find that very refreshing as it helps me unwind after work.
I like to come home early and have a proper Nepali dinner, after which I surf the Internet for an hour or two, and also manage my social media account.
I do go out with family and friends, but given a choice I’d rather lounge around the house on weekends and have some lazy time.
I usually unwind by watching a good movie; foreign language films appeal to me. Good story, fabulous acting sure is a perfect escape from daily grind.
