Nepal Hockey Association and Nepal Kabaddi Association on Wednesday finalised squads for the upcoming 12th South Asian Games slated for February 6-16 in Indian cities of Assam and Meghalaya.

While hockey has 20-member final squads in the men’s and women’s team, kabaddi has 12 each. Ranjit Raut, Dipendra Air, Satyanarayan Chaudhary, Amit Srivastav, Roshan Chaudhary, Ram Sah, Pradeep Rajbanshi, Samuel Rai, Dev Singh Dhami,

Madan Panta, Ram Dungana, Dinesh Sah, Roshan Kumar Chhetri, Gobinda Adhikari, Ankit Pathak, Suraj Gharti, Sunni Ram Hemran, Kishore Ojha,  Ganesh Sah and Keshav Joshi were selected for men’s event.

The female hockey team include Chandra Kumari Kushwar, Tanka Kumari Khapangi, Hom Dangal, Sarita Meche, Rajani Kumari Gurung, Kushma Rana Magar,  Sita Maya Bal, Jyoti Malla, Bhatirathi Bista, Bimala Bhatta, Tulashi Dangora, Seema Chaudhary, Rekha Bhatta, Shilpa Dangora, Anju Dangora, Kamala Chand, Tara Malla, Bindu Rawal, Nira Auchi and Neelam Joshi.

Mahesh Bohora, Jay Bohora, Bhuwan Khadka, Bijay Chandm, Lal Mohar Yadav, Sanjay Shrestha, Kalyan Bhujel, Saroj Kumar Singh, Irshad Mansoor Alam, Gobinda Thapa, Anil Koju and Prakash Sah  were picked up for men’s kabaddi.
