Dant Ko Dob, a play written and directed by Lamichhane himself, is currently being staged at the Theatre Village, Lazimpat.
The play, set in rural Nepali village, revolves around the love-hate relationship between two kids—Loknath (Anoj Pandey) and Hariprasad (Prakash Dahal)—who struggle to show their influence over each other. In capturing their rustic day-to-day life, the play evokes societal malpractices still prevalent in rural Nepal. Along with Pandey and Dahal, the play features actors Binita Thapa Magar, Rajesh Sitaula, Kamal Devkota, Shishir Siwakoti, Rohit Poudel, and Renuka Karki, among others.
The play is on every day—except for Wednesdays—starting at 5 pm, at the Satya Mohan Joshi Natakghar, in Theatre Village, Uttar Dhoka.
