The 34-year-old from Bishanpur VDC-9 has submitted an application at the District Administration Office, requesting for revocation of his Nepali citizenship.
Ansari said when he returned home after working in Malaysia for five years, he was disillusioned by the way the country’s government and the political parties.
“They are driven by greed and power. I had hoped I would get some job after returning home, but I was wrong,” said Ansari, who plans to move with his family to Motihari, India.
District Administrative Officer Om Khadka said they will review Ansari’s application and start the revocation process.
