Curating art in Nepal

The event will see discussions about the current status of art management in South Asia and will share insights into myriad topics such as art marketing, audience development, film festival management, and product development.
Speaking during the event will be two international speakers, Shoaib Iqbal and Jay Shah.
Iqbal is the founder and ditector of The Little Art, a non-profit arts education organisation that uses art to promote positive social values through innovative learning opportunities among children and young adults.
Jay Shah, has been working with the Mahindra Group for more than 15 years. Currently a vice-president at the Cultural Outreach programme, Shah is responsible for using arts and culture to connect with Mahindra’s stakeholders throughout the world. The organisers, Siddhartha Arts Foundation, hope to foster the current status of art curation and artists’ careers in Nepal. The one-hour long free-of-cost event will start at 5 pm.
