Nepal Police confirmed on Tuesday that they had held two more persons on the charge of trafficking 27 women to New Delhi.
According to a statement issued by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Sanu Lama aka BK, 34, of Kavre and Dan Bahadur Chettri, 38, of Kapilvastu were caught some time ago while trying to send the women to Gulf countries including the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
The women were rescued from New Delhi following their arrest from Mahilpalpur in the Indian Capital by the Indian security agencies in July last year.
The others arrested earlier on the charge of trafficking women are Sujil Rai of Khotang and Raj Babu Shrestha of Mahottari. They are doing their time in judicial custody.
