PM Oli in Chengdu

PM Oli travelled from Xian to Chengdu on Friday, according to Mohan Shrestha, a member of the delegation and chief public relations officer to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa. The PM will inspect on Saturday the post-earthquake reconstruction works carried out in Sichuan. In Xian, he met leaders of the Communist Party of China.
On Friday, the PM visited a museum, which is listed as a world heritage site, and addressed an investment summit there. CEO of Investment Board of Nepal Radhesh Pant also made a presentation before Chinese investors. Both Oli and Pant called for Chinese investments assuring high return while Nepal is on the road to political stability.
PM Oli witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Nepal Medical Association and Sian Medical University. He will return home on Sunday.
