Addressing a press conference at party headquarters in Capital’s Paris Danda, Party Spokesperson Dinanath Sharma criticised government’s reluctance to speed up the pace of reconstruction works. “Our party will reconsider its support to the incumbent government if quake-affected people are not provided with permanent shelter and relief before the start of monsoon season,” said Sharma.
Sharma accused the government of overlooking plight of the quake victims despite them taking refuge in flimsy temporary shelters. Coming down heavily against the government for its failure to check on the black marketeering of essential goods and commodities, Sharma said they would draw the attention of PM Oli upon his return from China visit.
