Jet Airways plane bomb hoax

The flight from the Indian capital was isolated and security personnel conducted a thorough inspection of the plane at the TIA after a threat alarm was communicated to the Jet Airways office in Kathmandu from Delhi.
There were 169 people including crew members on board. All inbound and outbound flights at the TIA were temporarily suspended following the bomb scare.
Earlier, the plane had experienced difficulty in landing due to poor visibility in Kathmandu. The aircraft had to make six rounds before making an emergency landing following the alert.
The plane was sent to isolation immediately after it landed. Personnel from the Nepal Army’s bomb disposal squad had searched the aircraft.
