A 38-year-old man sustained bullet injuries while retaliating against robbers at Kachorwa-3 in the district on Monday night.
The armed robbers shot at house owner Dharmendra Sah Kalwar as the latter attempted to retaliate. The victim was shot at knee. The injured is receiving treatment at Narayani Sub-regional Hospital in Birgunj.
Inspector Kumar Pandit Chhetri at Area Police Office in Simraungadh said a group of about six armed robbers looted cash and valuables worth about Rs 500,000 from Sah’s house. (PR)
