Having completed visits to two neighbouring countries, Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Rajendra Chhetri is leaving for a 11-day visit to the United States on the invitation of US Army.
Having completed visits to two neighbouring countries, Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Rajendra Chhetri is leaving for a 11-day visit to the United States on the invitation of US Army. The travel plan of the group of seven NA officials under Gen Chettri was approved by the Cabinet on Thursday.
The visit commences on March 24 will complete on May 5, according to Army Spokesperson Brig Gen Tara Bahadur Karki.
During his stay, CoAS Chhetri will be visiting the institutes where he completed his Staff College and War College training apart from bilateral meeting with his American counterpart.
Gen Chhetri had commenced his foreign trips as chief of national defence force with a visit to India in January, followed by a trip to China last month.
