Nabil Bank launches three new products

Nabil Bank launched three new products—Nabil SmartBank, Nabil Share Loan and Share Khata—amid a programme here on Thursday.
Nabil SamartBank is a mobile application which is the upgraded version of the bank’s existing mobile banking service. According to the bank, the application integrates multiple services provided by the bank into a single platform with many value-added services and enhanced security.
“It allows users to transfer funds not only within Nabil bank but also with 34 banks in the similar payment network on a real time basis through internet and SMS channels,” said Nabil CEO Sashin Joshi. “In addition, the application offers added services like integration to Google Map, information about the merchant offers and discounts and account statement among others along with existing services like utility payments, notification and alerts.”
Nabil Share Loan provides solution to investors looking for hassle-free processing with quick turnaround time for availing loans against dematerialised shares. The product is designed to accommodate requirements of investors who trade actively in the share market providing a one-stop solution for loans and management of demat accounts, according to the bank.
Share Khata is a new saving accounts with added services and benefits to individuals who seek to invest in shares listed in Nepal Stock Exchange. “It is one of the most convenient and secured platforms to invest in shares and securities and for facilitating timely receipt of dividends, initial public offering and follow on public offering,” reads the press release issued by the bank. “This product will be complimentary to demat accounts and the account holders can avail internet banking access to track demat accounts maintained with Nabil Investment Banking.”
Joshi said the bank is delighted to offer new and innovative products services will continue to render professionalized and efficient banking service to cater the banking needs of a wider section of the society. Nabil Bank provides its services through 52 branches, 90 ATMs and 1,500 payout agents.
