A 22-member Nepali team on Friday left for Tajikistan to participate in the AFC U-14 Girls’ Regional Championship (South and Central) beginning from April 27 in Dushanbe. Nepal are drawn in Group ‘B’ alongside India and defending champions Bangladesh. Group ‘A’ consists of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bhutan and Iran. Nepal play India on April 27 before taking on Bangladesh the next day. Rajju Khadka will lead the Nepal side. Binod Lama is the team coach. The All Nepal Football Association on Friday bade farewell to the team.
