Lawmakers completed putting forward their views on post-earthquake reconstruction at the Legislature-Parliament on Thursday.
The members of parliament were allocated time to express their opinions on the topic on Wednesday and Thursday.
Lawmakers had suggested expediting the reconstruction works, reviewing the list of persons deemed eligible to apply for subsidised loan, and constructing shelters to the people rendered homeless due to the earthquake.
Some lawmakers, meanwhile, were divided over whether to continue the incumbent government or replace it with a national unity government. The lawmakers from the ruling parties UCPN (Maoist), CPN (UML) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal suggested continuing the UML-led coalition government while those from the main opposition, Nepali Congress, called for replacing the incumbent government and forming a national unity government.
