SAN, Oasis record battling wins 

KATHMANDU: SAN and Oasis Cricket Academy won their respective matches of the U-16 Cup Twenty20 cricket tournament on Thursday. SAN defeated Cannon Club by 27 runs, while Oasis edged Ujwol Sishu Niketan by one run in super over. Ujwol Sishu made 97-7 before Oasis managed 97-7 from their 20. In the second match, SAN compiled 151 all out in 19.1 overs before they stopped Cannon at 124-7 in 20 overs. (PR)


Match suspended due to fog 

ILAM: The second semi-final match of the third Nepal Cup Invitational football tournament has been suspended on Thursday due to heavy fog. Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) Club of Eastern Region were leading 2-0 against hosts Ilam XI when the match had to be halted due to fog with 27 minutes left in the play. The remaining time will be played on Friday. Hari Karki and Ujwol Chemjong had scored a goal each in the second half for APF in the game. (PR)
