Kathford in semi-finals

In a 13-over-a-side quarter-finals, MMAMC edged Kist College by 14 runs. Kathford crushed Kathmandu Model College (KMC) by nine wickets after Sitesh Tiwari ran riot over the opponents’ batting order with a five-wicket haul.
Kathford bundled out KMC for 46 runs in 12.3 overs after man-of-the-match Tiwari returned the figures of 5-10 from 3.5 overs. Tiwari was able supported by Nischal Rana who took 3-13. Kathford reached the target in just 7.1 overs after Sushant Mandal hit six fours in his 22-ball 24.
Earlier, MMAMC rode on a half century stand between openers Raju Sharma and Bikash Sharma to post 98 all out in 12.5 overs. Kist were restricted to 84-9 in reply. Rokesh Khanal (3-17) and Niraj Rajbanshi (2-17) shared five wickets for MMAMC.
MMAMC openers Raju and Bikash (13) put on 53-run stand. Man-of-the-match Raju struck four fours and two sixes in his 26-ball 40. Sunam Ghising (12) was the only other batsman to reach double digits. Aashish Chand took 3-18 with Chand and Vijay Koirala taking two each.
