The government has once again invited the Sanghiya Gathbandhan (Federal Alliance), a group of Madhesi and Janajati parties, for talks. A Cabinet meeting on Friday decided to invite the Alliance for dialogue, saying that it will show maximum flexibility.  

Earlier the government and the Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM), which now has joined hands with the Janajati forces to form the Alliance, had held as many as 36 rounds of talks till February 18, but without any results.
