All you need is guts

Life is full of problems and difficulties. Needless to say, most people consider themselves to be a mediocre person regardless of their hidden internal potential. Many of us often get disheartened whenever life challenges us by creating a chain of problems at various stages. Sometimes, things do not go as per our expectations which may lead to frustration. Struggles and disappointments are inevitable in anyone’s life. Some people know how to handle adversity. They understand the moral philosophy of the saying, “It’s not the load that pressurises you, it’s the way you carry it.” The way we look at pressure situations defines the boundary line between hope and despair. We need to have a positive vision of life in order to turn a stumbling block into a stepping stone.

The problem with today’s young generation is that they are obsessed with negativity. They don’t even believe in themselves. Those who give in to the situation without listening to their hearts and take rampant decisions end up being a mediocre person. They are responsible for wasting their hidden magnificent talent. There are also people who take irresponsible decisions just to show others. They don’t realise that it is their life. People with a fatalistic attitude blame their own life, which is pointless. Sometimes, we need to take audacious decisions in order to create history. There’s a famous saying, “Under adverse circumstances, some people break records, while others break down.” It requires a lot of endurance and perseverance to overcome the obstacles encountered at various stages of our life. The ability to bounce back after each failure determines the bravery and character of an individual.

Sometimes, it’s normal for a person to wonder, “Happiness doesn’t exist; it is nowhere in sight.” However, the fact is that our life is like flour. What matters is how efficiently we can bake it into a delicious cake. Self-satisfaction and positive self-esteem are the keys to happiness and prosperity. It’s you and only you who can make a difference in your life. If life gives you trouble, it’s up to you to surrender or show courage to gradually eliminate it.

British author EM Forster had once said, “How do I know what I think until I hear what I say?” There’s a lot of truth in this statement. To reach our goal and live a meaningful life, we need to recognise ourselves. It is said that every person is blessed with some talent regardless of one’s personal belief. We just need to capitalise on our god-gifted potential by inculcating a sense of diligence and self-confidence with a positive mindset. We need to be something of an introvert and egoist to achieve excellence. The sole purpose must not be to win every battle, but to win the war. Don’t go down. Stay up. You can’t make someone a believer when you are down.

You can make a difference.
